Why did a payment by check not come out of my account yet?If you authorized a check for a specific business day, that is the day we will deposit it. Different banks process checks at different speeds. Some banks take 1 day to process the check. Others take 5 days or more.

I can’t afford to pay off this balance right now. Are options available for a payment plan?In many cases the answer is yes. We understand you are an individual and your situation may be unique. We will make a good faith effort to understand your circumstances and, if able, work with you to find a payment plan that will take care of the debt as soon as possible, yet remain affordable within your finances. Please know that while we would prefer to work voluntarily with you on a payment plan, not all accounts will be eligible for one depending on the legal status and actions taken. The earlier you contact us to resolve the account, the more likely we will be able to work with you on a voluntary basis.

How do I notify you of a Complaint, Dispute or Bankruptcy?Complaints: You can make a complaint here or via the other methods below. We take complaints seriously as we strive to provide a positive consumer experience despite the situation. Can Messerli & Kramer garnish my wages or bank account?Garnishments on bank accounts or wages can occur as part of enforcing a court ordered judgment. However, there are many steps in the legal process before Messerli and Kramer could serve a garnishment on a judgment. Our preference is to establish a voluntary repayment plan instead of a garnishment.
